First Thaman was roped in to compose the music, but later he had opted out of the movie due to un disclosed reasons which had left the movie without a Music Director, but the Director of the movie Lawrance had come up to compose music for his movie for the first time.
Thaman had twweted about his decision on the social networking site Twitter: “My best wishes to music director Raghava Lawrence Gaaru for REBEL I wish the entire te@m good luck And I thank Lawrence master for giving me KANCHANA which was a very big hit in both the languages:) but I am officially out of REBEL.”

Raghava Lawrance who is the Choreographer turned Actor turned Director is now dawning up a new role of
the Music Composer too. He sure knows how to give an All round performance.
Lets hope there will be something fresh from the Dance star, but he might not get much appreciation from many sectors of the industry to keep trying new stuff. Some things have to be left to the professionals to be delt with.
Lets hope that he brings out good music and Wish him All the Best and establishes himself in a new field as well.
