Shruti Haasan’s latest release 3 opened to superb collections in Tamilnadu as well as Andhra Pradesh. But the public talk is not encouraging enough. People are finding it tough to adjust to the contrasting first and second halves. First half is a feel good teenage romantic tale and second half is everything but entertaining.
Amidst all this fuss, Shruti Haasan did shine with a very good performance. She was asked to cry out loud and louder as the film progresses towards the climax. She did that in a convincing manner and proved that she could turn into a fine actress with experience. However, Shruti is at a risk of being branded as bad luck in this sentiment driven industry. She is badly in need of a hit to gain the confidence of producers.

Luckily, Shruti has Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh to follow. If this film lives up to the positive buzz that is being heard about it, then Shruti’s sorrows should end bright times are likely to follow. If Pawan Kalyan fails to deliver the goods with Gabbar Singh, then Shruti will surely be considered as the iron leg lady and will not be entertained anymore. Hope Pawan turns savior for this beautiful talented young lady.
