A R Rahman as New Judge for Indian Idol
Indian Idol show, the much popular singing fiesta, is coming back to the channel for its sixth season. Indian Idol is on the format of the Idol, the show which runs in various countries with the same designed format. In India, it completed five successful seasons and now with its sixth season, the show is all set to hit the screen.
The promotional activities on the channel and among the media have been started off. The three judges – Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan and Salim Merchant will be there to judge the contestants. Indian Idol is going to add another judge to its panel. Thus there would be four judges on the panel now and the fourth judge is none other than music maestro A R Rahman. The reports say that he has been approached by the channel and now the show’s makers are waiting his answer.
From 1st June onwards, the show will start airing on the channel.
