Samantha is a leading actress in the Telugu film industry.She has  been signed for the female lead role in a film which is being directed by Manirathnam.
Samantha while speaking said, “I am very happy acting in the film .It was a great surprise for me when I got the offer to act in Kadal directed by Manirathnam. By acting in this film, my dream has been fulfilled.”
