Life is not the same for Shruti Haasan after Gabbar Singh success. She was considered as the bad omen to the films that she starred in and people started calling her iron leg lady. With one big hit Shruti has shut all the dirty mouths and is having the last laugh now. Gabbar Singh has not only made her busy down South, but also caught the attention of Bollywood.
Shruti made her debut in Bollywood before testing Telugu and Tamil waters. However, 'Luck' didn't favor her as her first film Luck was ended up as a damp squib. Dil Toh Bacha Hai Ji also flopped big time and Shruti's dreams of making a career in Bollywood have been shattered. Thanks to Gabbar Singh, she has got one more chance to test her luck.
Shruti's portrayal of village belle's role in Gabbar Singh has impressed Prabhu Deva, who is looking for a suitable girl to play such role in his Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana remake. He believes that Shruti could fit into Trisha's shoes perfectly and asked her if she is willing to star in it. Shruti readily accepted the offer. In fact she has moved to Mumbai to hunt for new offers and luckily Prabhu Deva has come up with one.
