Manchu Manoj's Satire On Mega Heroes!
Manchu Manoj is following his dad's footsteps while addressing media. He is just speaking off his mind and it is getting him the attention of everyone. In a recent interview he stated that film fans are supporting few heroes by considering their caste. He says that people should start appreciating the talent to make Telugu cinema prosper.
Not many would have dared to speak about such sensitive issues. Manchu Manoj is a typical character and hence he doesn't care about the after effects of a statement. Also Manoj stated that he want to attract star directors by proving capabilities as an actor, but not by using his dad's name. "I wanted to deliver a blockbuster on my own and so that star directors start approaching me. I could easily use my father's name and rope in some star director. But I don't want that type of stardom," he said.
Although Manoj didn't say it in a sarcastic tone by targeting someone, people are reading between the lines. They feel that Manoj is pointing out at Ram Charan and Allu Arjun that have done most of their films under star directors to become big stars. Whether Manoj is pointing out at someone or not, but he should definitely feel proud for what all he had achieved till now. If he could really pull off a blockbuster with UKUP, then Manoj will surely get a chance to team up with star directors and moreover they could experiment with him instead of making template commercial movies.
