Another Kichidi From Ram Charan
Ram Charan's previous movie Racha was a super hit commercially, but as a film it isn't any good. Rajamouli openly stated that it is an ordinary movie and turned out to be a big hit due to star power. Racha is one of the films that are purely designed to score a hit by any means. In such films nothing seems special or novel. Everything seems cliched and utterly routine.
Despite all that negative factors it works as the masses always embraces such films. If the hero has mass following and new to the genre, films like Racha will definitely click. However, the wisdom of that hero lies with the choice of movies he picks to back up that success. One should never do a series of commercial films like Racha as it will be hard to tell which one of them actually clicks.
Movies like Racha should be used as the life lines and you know what it means. But it seems like Charan has fallen into this trap and is coming up with yet another kichidi movie to lure the masses. Vinayak's film with Charan is a true template of a commercial mass masala fare it seems. Charan deliberately picked this subject and made sure that it had all the so called mass elements. Let's see if this kichidi works for him second time in a row.
