Arava Heroes in Karuvu Situation!
Earlier Tamil heroes used to make merry at Telugu box office. Our audiences were so open hearted that they used to run to the theaters to watch each and every dubbed flick. With this the invasion of Tamil cinema on Tollywood has turned out to be a major concern for our filmmakers. In 2010 the biggest hit at Telugu box office was Robo.
In 2011, the situation turned worse as Tamil films ruled our ticket windows between the period from May to August. But thanks to our superstars and their zeal to do many films, it is under control now. Tamil dubbed films are failing to grab the attention of our audiences as they are happy and content with our films.
Also the mediocrity in recent Tamil films is also the reason for Arava heroes Karuvu state in our state. Not even a single Tamil dubbed film did well this year till date and the only dubbed film that has done decent business was Avengers. Other than that only Telugu films ruled our box office and let us hope it remains the same from now on. If Tamil heroes are looking to get good collections in Andhra Pradesh they will have to do something special, or else our audience too will out rightly reject like Tamilians do!
