Colors Swathi's Real Name!
Many of us assume that Swathi is the real name of this Colors Papa. But her real name or her first name is not the same what we have believed upto now.
Swathi's real name was 'Svetlana' (Russian name), which means beautiful girl. It was later changed to Swathi by her mother. She was born in Vladivostok (Russia) on 1987 - April 9, when father was working for Indian Navy was transferred to the USSR as a submariner. Her family shifted to Mumbai and later to Vizag, where she spent most of her childhood.
Swathi shot to fame with the talk show 'colors' on MAA TV. Later she became an actress and done upto a dozen films in both Telugu and Tamil. Her first Box Office hit came with 'Asta Chemma' and her performance in the Tamil film 'Subramaniyapuram' has been appreciated by critics. Her dubbing for Ileana in 'Jalsa' and 'Julayi' needs a special mention. Off late, she was seen playing guest roles in the films Mirapakay and Kandireega opposite star heroes Raviteja and Ram. Hopefully, this beautiful and talented girl enter the big league one day!
