Telugu Directors Becoming Scientists?
To show off intelligence, you need to sport something like thick glasses, simple attire or at least a greyed out hair. This is happening now with the star directors of Telugu cinema and here goes the story.
A look at ace directors like Rajamouli, Puri Jagan, Trivikram and Sukumar ensures one thing in common. Grown beard with slight strands of grey hair are the trademarks of these guys. While Rajamouli and Trivikram have faded hair, others tone it down a lot to camouflage it. The list goes big if we add the likes of Krishna Vamsi, Chandrasekhar Yeleti and also Gowtham Menon. Industry observers felt that these directors are giving a sense of intelligence through their style statement as they look like scientists. May be we could call this 'Grey Hair Syndrome' of Telugu biggies.
Critics are simply writing this off as 'age factor', because most of them have crossed their primes and in their early 40s. Whatever it is, if you are an intelligent director with a touch of sense, then grey-hair suits you best!
