Non-writer Directors Vs Writer-Directors??
Currently Telugu industry is ruled by five directors who carved a niche for themselves in their own styles. And, right now that group is divided into two sub-groups, for whom Vinayak's success means a lot.
Among the top five, Rajamouli, Sreenu Vytla and VV Vinayak are not writers but just directors. There is no need to talk about the talents of Puri Jagan and Trivikram, the other part of this five and are writers plus directors. Now, all of them have scored respectable hits recently except Vinayak. If our talented mass-director proves his stamina again with Charan's 'Nayak', then R-S-V group will have upper hand and that declares the supremacy of non-writing directors. Otherwise, the punch power of magical writers will rule the roost for certain time.
On a whole, non-writer directors are best in screenplay and energetic conceiving of scenes, while writer-directors are best with dialogue magic. No comparison, but still a matter of discussion!
