Puri's DCM effect on Kishore's Vennela One And Half:
There is a strong connection between these two movies in terms of content and its backdrop. Now if a film flops miserably, other film that belongs to same type should be extra ordinarily well. Otherwise, its fate will be decided on just first day first show itself.
In the name of Bangkok, Puri Jagan's 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' has exploited the lots of Thailand and its semi-nude women in a sleazy way, but the result is disastrous. This is now shaking the likes of 'Vennela 1.5' that is shot in the same place and with an increased dose of such content. Trade pundits are worried about the fate of Vennela 1.5 as Puri's film has made a bitter impact on audiences about Bangkok. And, that too Vennela Kishore is directing for the first time and with loads of adult content over loaded, his skills may be overshadowed. The only saviour of this film will be Brahmanandnam, and we have seen many films biting dust these days despite his presence.
Insiders revealed that producer Anil Sunkara who has bought this movie out-rate is editing some parts of the flick to make it more crisp and flowing. Wait for the film to know its real fate!
