Shiridi Sai First Week Collections:
Nagarjuna's Shiridi Sai which was released a week ago did reasonably well in its first week. It collected around 9 crore rupees share from AP alone. Overall collections would be just over 10 crores in the first week. Given its genre, this is impressive. But the makers might have expected a lot more as they had a wide release.
There is a drop in the collections towards the end of the first week and we have to wait and see how well does it hold in its second week. Chances are likely for the film to collect at least fifteen crore rupees share from Andhra Pradesh. Family audiences are the key for these type of films. It should have been released during holidays period for much better performance.
Nevertheless Shiridi Sai is a good attempt and has to be lauded for its noble intentions. Hopefully this film inspires others and such films are made often. Nagarjuna is likely to win awards for his portrayal of Shiridi Sai. This film will be remembered by him and his fans for many reasons.
