Kamal Hassan Rejects it! Manchu Lakshmi Wants It!
Tollywood 'Irendri' Lakshmi Manchu is in an upbeat mode after bagging the Nandi Award for Best Villain in her Debut film Anaganaga O Dheerudu. When asked what would be her goal in life, she replied,"I want to bag an Oscar award in my life time".
On responding to the question why she preferred an Oscar when a great actor like Kamal Hassan openly expressing their disinterest on them, Lakshmi said,"That's his personal opinion. May be he don't want Oscar, but I want it!".
It might be big surprise for many that why Mohan Babu who acted in 550 films till date couldn't get at least a single Nandi? Even Lakshmi expresses the same doubt,"I don't really understand why my father hadn't bagged a Nandi till date, despite playing several versatile roles. That why, he always criticizes the Nandi awards. Even if I say don't take them to the heart, he willn't listen!".
Lakshmi expressed her desire to write an autobiography in future covering all her experiences as an actor and a producer in the tinsel town. Will it touch controversial topics? Let's wait and watch!
