Touted as one of the straightforward speaker in Film Industry, actress and producer Lakshmi Manchu has responded in style, when asked about 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu'. Like her father Mohan Babu, she too gave a fitting reply for the interviewer.
The anchor of a media-house that aggressively supports Telangana agitation tried to project that Rambabu movie is a sin, before asking Lakshmi to respond about it.
'Movies are meant to create sensationalism. Even media reads, even you (the anchor, a popular lady news reader) read all normal heading as sensational stuff. So what is wrong if a straight forward guy like Puri tells what he is thinking in his mind?' asked Lakshmi Manchu. 'There may be some jerky things, but you shouldn't connect all of them to you personally. From ages, Cinema has been that way', she stressed.
'Watch movies for entertainment, but don't pick them as your weapons to get political mileage. About the issues in the flick Rambabu, take them on lighter vein (light teeskondi)', concludes Lakshmi Manchu. Looks like the anchor got a perfect shot from the actress after trying to cash on the issue.
