With the second biggest film-season of the year hitting next week, Tollywood's bigwigs are getting ready to draw swords. But the biggest competition is between two groups, and they are Powerstar and rest of the flicks. Check this story!
Among the biggest contenders of this Dasara season, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' is the top player undoubtedly. But the biggest difference between Pawan's flick and rest is the kind of scripts our makers have chosen. While Pawan is hitting with a regular commercial entertainer, other movies are somewhat art-related and experimental subjects.
Nagarjuna's Damarakum is a socio fantasy subject, Krish's Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum is a different art-form, and Surya's Brothers (Maatran) is an experiment with the story of two conjoined twins. With all these art-forms in place, trade circuits are unable to predict how our ordinary 'Rambabu' will chase his target.
But the confidence on director Puri Jagan's face at a recent press meet is an indicative that Rambabu's success is much higher than our anticipation. Let us wait for October 18th!
