Puri Jagannadh To Join YSR Congress?
Rumour mills are rife in Tollywood that director Puri Jagannath will soon be stepping into active politics. The director is reportedly expecting the Anakapalle Lok Sabha seat on a YSRC ticket. His home-town Narsipatnam falls in that constituency. Puri Jagan’s brother is active member of YSRC and YS Jagan’s mother Vijayamma and sister Sharmila stayed at Puri Jagan’s residence at his native village near Narsipatnam during their Odarpu Yatra some months ago.
Interestingly, his latest film ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu’ has a several pot shots on the other political parties in the state and their leaders.In fact, after the demise of YSR, Puri and Jagan Mohan Reddy had planned to make a biopic on the departed leader but the project was later kept on hold.
Puri was unavailable for comment. He even didn’t attended the CMGR press meet held at his office yesterday instead distributor Dil Raju and producer Danayya spoke.
