Samantha Fires On Award Ceremonies:
Have Award Ceremonies lost their credibility? Majority of film buffs would agree with the answer YES. Now, noted celebrities have been going chorus!
Samantha criticized the organizers of Award Ceremonies who prefer awards for stars to garner better TRPs rather than deserving candidates or gives away the award to the star who attends their event and co-operates with them by dancing for few hit songs. "I prefer I get an award for my work on a film rather than being awarded for attending their event....call it arrogance if you may....but I know where my award or reward comes from....U...thank you my loves," she commented, when the news of she declining the offer to grace a recent award ceremony came to light.
So, it's very clear that Samantha prefers quality than quantity. The next time some one wants to invite her for a Award Ceremony, he/she should approach her with a convincing explanation or should prepare to receive brickbats if they fail in their attempt.
