Srikanth’s Devaraya in Trouble!!
Srikanth’s much anticipated movie ‘Devaraya’ created curiosity thru videos, posters and music among film lovers who are desperately waiting to watch it. But the film has landed in a big controversy just a few days before its release. An organisation named Kapu Nadu has alleged that it shows the much-revered King Sri Krishnadevaraya in a very bad light.
Kapu Nadu says that King Sri Krishnadevaraya is one of the highly regarded Kings in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. But the movie Devaraya portrays him as an item dancer. The organisation has now urged the makers of this much-anticipated movie to remove all those sleazy songs and other scenes from the film that make a mockery of the King.
The film Devaraya, which is directed by Nani Krishna, is based on the life and times of Sri Krishnadevaraya. The movie features Srikanth, Meenakshi Dixit and Vidisha. Srikanth is playing dual roles like Dorababu and Sri Krishnadevaraya. It is scheduled to release this month. But the makers are yet to respond to the statements issued by Kapu Nadu.
