Tamil Director Following Telugu Director?
Rajamouli has become a pan Indian icon with 'Eega' releasing in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. From then, even big directors are trying to pull a leaf from his strategies and recently A R Murugadoss joined that list.
Murugadoss created sensational flicks like Ghajni, Stalin and 7th Sense, and always tries to invent something new in terms of content. The trailer of his latest flick 'Tupaki' starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal was released the other day to a overwhelming response. Like Rajamouli, Murugadoss also told the story of the film in this 2 minute theatrical. Generally Rajamouli reveals the whole story before movie release and locks people in theatres with his stunning screenplay. We have to see if this works for Murugadoss or not.
On the flip side, it is hero Vijay who needs a hit badly in Telugu industry apart from his star 'Ilayathalapathy' status in Lungi land. Let us hope Kajal Agarwal will bring luck to him this time!
