Writer-turned-Director Khaja who won 9 Nandi Awards till date for his exceptional work in the field of theatre has chosen a controversial title and unique theme for his debut film. D/O Ram Gopal Varma which stars Vennela Kishore and newbie Kavita is generating enough buzz for its unique way of presentation.
Touted to be a out-and-out entertainer, D/O Ram Gopal Varma is a story that revolves around a Celebrity Father and his Daughter. The first look posters with a tagline 'Story Of A Celebrity' looks very impressive. Point to be noted here is that Ram Gopal Varma has no objection what-so-ever regarding the title of the film, despite trying to encash free publicity by making his Daughter a Comedy Piece.
On the other side of the coin, it's good to see young directors coming up with some innovative themes rather than following the tried and tested paths like commercial potboilers. Seems like Tollywood is heading for a change and lets assume for now that everything that's been happening is only for a betterment!
