Inter Caste Marriages In Tollywood:
Marriages are made in heaven but thanks to the Indian society and tradition, there are many parameters associated with it. First among them is caste. It is usually the custom to have marriages between boys and girls of same caste. However, times are changing and the customs are also changing.
The film industry is the best place to see those changes. It is observed that in Tollywood there are a lot of inter caste marriages happening. There is a general talk that industry is dominated by one community but in top families inter caste marriages are happening.
For instance, the Mega family has got girls from Reddy community, Kamma-Reddy combo community as their daughters-in-law. Then there is the Manchu family. It is heard that Lakshmi Manchu's husband is a Brahmin. Even Vishnu's wife is Reddy Christian.
There is also news that young heroes like Daggubati Rana are not focusing on caste. If some bigshot is there and can benefit his career and profile then he would not mind if they are Telugu or Tamil. We are wishing that this caste factor should get wiped out in the future and Tollywood becomes a role model for that.
