Kamal Hassan needs no introduction. He being a lyricist , will be contributing lyrics to an Assameese – Tamil song composed by Joi Barua.Speaking to the press, Kamal confirmed his role in the song and said that he penned the words for Shruti as a gift for his birthday which arrives in a couple of days. The Assameese lyrics have been written by composer Joi Barua himself. Apparently the music director wanted a song and a singer that breached all regional boundaries and hence decided to infuse a Tamil section in the song and chose Shruti Haasan to sing it as she possesses
a strong command over the language.
