Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum Only for 2 hr 10 minutes:
In the last 3 months or so, we have witnessed films with over 2.30 minutes runtime drawing mixed response at the Box Office. Best example are the films like Life Is Beautiful, Rebel and Brothers which are categorized as neither bad nor good. Even critics too have opined that if editing could have been proper, the viewing experience of the film might have greatly improved.
Rana's Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum is bound to have an additional advantage, despite taking on another biggie Damarukam. Although the film is a blend of various genres like action adventure, romance and mythology, Director Krish has succeeded in keeping it's length shorter and his past experience as an editor played a big role here. "The runtime of KVJ is only 2 hr 10 minutes. Thanks to Krish prior experience as an editor. He only shoots what's required for the film," confirms Rana.
Shorter runtime will improve the viewing experience and also increases the repeat value, which plays a huge role in the success of any film. Seems like everything has fallen in place for Rana and Krish!
