Rajamouli Nominated for CNN IBN Indian of the Year 2012:
Tollywood's top filmmaker SS Rajamouli is nominated for the prestigious CNN-IBN Indian Of The Year 2012 in the Entertainment category for his exceptional work in the graphical extravaganza Eega, which once again proved that there are no language barriers for a good film. He is the only South India nominee and also the only director to find a place in the list. Other nominees in the same category include Aamir Khan & Team Satyamev Jayate, Ranbir Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Sridevi and Irrfan Khan.
In Sports, the nominees were Virat Kohli, Saina Nehwal, Sushil Kumar, Pankaj Advani, Vijay Kumar, Viswanathan Anand. In Politics, the nominees were Akhilesh Yadav, Ajay Maken, Manohar Parrikar, Prithviraj Chavan, Sukhbir Singh Badal and Jairam Ramesh. In Business, the nominees were Chanda Kochhar, Chandrasekaran, Nitin Paranjpe, Rajiv Bajaj, Rahul Bhatia, Yusuf Hamied.
In Public Service, the nominees were Arving Kejriwal and India Against Corruption, Armstrong Pame, Baba Adhav & Aruna Roy, Dr. Devi Shetty, Madhav Gadgil, Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
