Telugu Heroes Need More Than US!
Simple stories, and copied remakes from South are doing it big for Bollywood heroes, but Telugu stars are not able to cash in that way. The reason behind that is simple. The big the kingdom, the more the income!
Plans are on the way for Tollywood's super-star heroes like Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu about increasing the number of theatres for their forthcoming release. All in all, they can get a maximum of 1000 screens here and hence they should find new markets. Reports have that Telugu heroes like Charan and NTR are also planning to increase number of screens. This is going to happen only if they aggressively concentrate on overseas market other than USA.
The focus of our heroes should be on gulf countries like Dubai, Kuwait along with South Asian countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and other, where there is Telugu and South Indian population. Only if they could expand markets to other places and if gets a pie in European market too, they will be getting more openings and much income. Let us see if we could get a day that witnesses a Telugu film getting released all over the world, literally.
