Nayak has an edge over SVSC:
The two biggies (Naayak, SVSC) which are competing this Pongal have a slight edge over one another in few aspects. When it comes to run time, this new commercial potboiler is way ahead of the multi-starrer flick.
According to the reliable sources, Naayak's runtime is 140 min (2 hr 20 min) & SVSC's runtime is 174 min (2 hr 54 min). With less run time, Naayak has got the bright chances of providing better viewing experience and this factor eventually increase the repeat value to a great extent. On the other hand, if a film has a run time of nearly 3 hours then everything should fall in place and at the same time it should be entertaining & engaging, else everything might go out of control.
The biggest problem usually filmmakers face while making multi-starrer is the allotment of equal screen time for both the heroes as if this factor is neglected, they should be prepared to face the ire of the fans. SVSC's output seems to have got effected in this way. Wish both Venky and mahesh have equal footage and the film is entertaining as well to start the trend of multi-starrers in Tollywood!
