Ram Charan Repeats Magadheera Sentiment:
Noted actor Srihari has come on board to reprise the iconic role of Sher Khan in the remake of Amitabh Bachchan's 1973 super hit Zanjeer.
Speaking at the audio launch of Ko Ante Koti, Charan addressed Srihari as the lucky mascot for him and Jr NTR showing the examples like Magadheera and Brundavanam and expressed confidence that the actor rubs off his luck on Sharwanand now.
Srihari who played a pivotal role in Ko Ante Koti revealed the news of coming on board for Zanjeer remake. "Just now Charan has given me a gift. The birth of Sher Khan happened with Zanjeer. I'm going to do the role of Sher Khan once again after Magadheera," shared the actor.
Although Sonu Sood was the first choice to play Sher Khan in both Hindi and Telugu versions, the makers have later decided to have different star cast for both the languages and that's how Sanjay Dutt came on board. Restricting him to just the Telugu version hasn't gone down well with Sonu and so he opted out of the project. Immediately, Charan suggested the name of Srihari to the makers and the senior actor too expressed his willingness to repeat the Madagheera magic once again on screen.
