Shruti made a conscious decision not to follow anyone including her actor-father before foraying into glamour world and worked to the best of her abilities to fulfill her goals. "Be it anything, I wish to learn on my own. Neither I change myself looking at others nor wish to do that for anyone. Everyone has their own ideology and identity. I don't wish to be like someone else. In fact, I respect Dad a lot, but never tried to imitate him. Never felt like, I should speak like him nor behave like him," .

The line-up of films like Yevadu, Kandireega 2, Balupu and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana Hindi remake indicates this multi-talented siren would have fruitful career as an actress.
