If a latest buzz is to be believed, Raghava Lawrence will direct the Hindi remake of ‘Kanchana’. Super Star Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya Dhanush is planning to produce this horror film. Interesting thing is, Akshay Kumar will portray Lawrence’s role and Sanjay Dutt will reprise Sarath Kumar. As per sources, Aishwarya met Akshay Kumar and they have been successful to take the movie on floors by June.

A source informs, “The tastes of South and North Indian audience are different. So, director is tweeking the script to cut down gory incidents and making other changes to connect with viewers but the original soul of the storyline will be retained. Akshay is impressed with the role but we haven’t finalized Sanjay Dutt yet.”
