Actor, producer Kamal Haasan's prestigious venture Vishwaroopam is all set to release on January 25. The movie faced severe controversy on Direct-to-Home platform with theatre owners forcing the postponement of both DTH and theatrical release.
The new problem for Kamal Haasan popped up with various Muslim organisations demanding a ban on release of Vishwaroopam because it will affect the social harmony in country.
MH Jawahirullah, MLA and President of Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam along with representatives of various Muslim organisations met Chennai Police Commissioner requesting for the ban. However, Kamal organised a special screening of movie for them following their demand yet there was a concern on depiction of Muslim community in movie.
Muslim organisations will approach leagal mesaures to stop the release. Let us see, how Kamal Haasan reacts.
