Tusshar Kapoor is all set to make his TV debut with the comedy show Nautanki that he will be judging. “Comedy is something I am comfortable with and the concept appealed to me because it is not a routine stand-up comedy,” says Tusshar who will start shooting for the show in a couple of days.
The show resemblesa play with a set of actors put in different situations and settings. “It’s not really a competition,” says Tusshar adding that he will be looking at it from the common man’s perspective. “It has to be natural and fun,” says the actor, who himself has been appreciated for his comic outings in films like Golmaal and Kya Kool Hai Hum.
But what’s got him more excited is Salman Khan introducing his show on Bigg Boss. “Salman is the king of comedy and it’s great that he is endorsing my show,” smiles Tusshar who interacted with Salman closely for the first time on the show. “I have been on Bigg Boss in the past to promote Golmaal 3 and The Dirty Picture and both were huge hits. I hope it proves to be lucky for my TV show too,” says Tusshar. Besides Nautanki, the actor will soon start shooting for director Shashank Shah’s next film Chalo Dilli. “It’s a comic revenge story about a bunch of friends,” is all that Tusshar’s willing to divulge now.
