Young Heroine Priya Anand Avoiding Regional Media:
Of late, it has become a trend for heroines to avoid regional media. Ileana D'Cruz, who made an impressive debut with YVS Chowdary's 'Devadasu', has made it big in Bollywood with 'Barfi'. She has been showing her attitude for a while to producers and media. She has been avoiding movie promotions and not even attending audio launch events. Now the latest girl who joined this bandwagon is young girl. She is none other than Sekhar Kammula's 'Leader' heroine Priya Anand.
This spunky girl is super busy who is straddling across Telugu, Tamil and Hindi filmdoms. She was recently seen alongside 'Athiloka Sundari' Sridevi in her comeback film 'English Vinglish'. This has apparently raised her headstrong and she is showing this stubborn attitude with media.
The whole issue came into light, when a few Telugu TV channels has approached Priya Anand for her interview regarding her latest film 'Ko ante Koti' which stars Sharwanand and Sri Hari. According to close source, "Priya Anand is very much in Hyderabad and we approached her for interview. She curtly replied that she can't give interviews to regional channels citing her multi-lingual films. She will certainly pay a price for her highhandedness and carelessness. Though we've requested her for many times she rudely behaved every time."
