Singam 2 pits two glam girls, Hansika and Anushka, opposite Suriya. Sources in the industry were expecting a big glamour contest between these heroines but Anushka says that director Hari has given more importance to the story and that there is no scope for such petty tussles between the two heroines.
She says that while in the first part, she was restricted primarily to the songs; in the second part she has more scope for performance too.
Singam 2 will also be dubbed and released in Telugu as Singam was a big hit in Telugu as well. Plus, Suriya, Hansika and Anushka are well-known names in Tollywood.
