Is Sridevi's Award A Big Deal?
There is a huge uproar everywhere that veteran diva Sridevi is being sidelined at various award functions. They say that politics are stopping this angelic beauty from receiving 'Best Actress' award for her comeback flick 'English Vinglish'.
Each and everyone are blasting that Sridevi should be given award for her performance in 'English Vinglish'. But to speak frankly, more than Sridevi it is the character written by director Gauri Shinde that got all those mesmeric emotions. Also, awards are given by comparing actresses who have done their best in lead role. In that case, Sridevi is no match to what Vidya Balan has done in her 'Kahaani' beyond the design of that character. Vidya's spectacular performance is far ahead that what our old diva has done in her comeback flick. What say guys?
Cine analysts say that many fans think Sridevi returned to silver screen after a long time, and should be showered with awards. Yes, then they should demand Special Jury Award for her, but not Best Actress!
