Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'naayak' and Victory Venkatesh and Prince Mahesh Babu's 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' released for this Pongal and both the movies got blockbuster statuses. At the end of the three weeks run of both these movies, 'SVSC' collected a share of Rs.50.26 crores world wide while 'naayak' collected Rs.49.81 crores world wide.
However, if India's collections are taken into consideration, 'naayak' collected Rs.45.91 crores while 'SVSC' collected Rs.40.56 crores. Overall leading of 'naayak' in India is Rs. 5.35 crores on 'SVSC'. Although, 'SVSC' is leading with Rs.55 lakhs on 'naayak' world wide, 'naayak' will have good number of chances to cross the full run shares of 'SVSC' in future, as Overseas business of both the films has almost closed.
