The latest news that buzzed in Pawan camp is that Pawan is keen to team up with young director Sampath Nandi. Pawan, who is currently busy with yet-to-be titled film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, would work with Sampath for his up next film to be produced by Pawan's close aid Sharath Marar.
A source close to this project said, 'Yes, Pawan will team up with director Sampath Nandi soon after completing Trivikram's project. Also, Kona Venkat's project is in pipeline which is yet to be confirmed.'
Director Sampath Nandi, who made directorial debut with Varun Sandesh starrer 'Yemaindi Ee Vela', has proved his mettle with commercial success 'Racha' that has Ram Charan and Tamannah in the lead roles. The movie, which declared hit at the box-office, ran for over 100 days in majority centres. Sources say that Sampath has already completed penning the story.
Tipped to be a story set against the backdrop of prevailing political conditions, the movie throws light on corruption in the political system. Pawan has reportedly impressed with the story and has given his nod for this project. The talk doing rounds is that the makers are considering the title 'Chota Mesthri'.
Ramana Gogula, who earlier rendered tunes for Pawan's 'Thammudu', 'Badri', 'Johnny' and 'Annavaram', will compose the music. The movie would go to floors in May probably after wrapping up Trivikram's film in April. After this film, writer Kona Venkat would direct Pawan.
