Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt who is making a third film of his ‘1920’ franchise, has signed actress Prachi Desai to play the lead role and the young actress is very excited to be a part of the film.
Talking about her role in the film, Prachi says that she is not playing a ghost in the horror film and her role is of a princess.
She says, “I am doing Vikram Bhatt’s ’1920′. It is a horror film, but I will not be wearing white clothes and colored lenses or scary make-up. I play a princess in that film. I will have a wide range of looks in the
film.”
Prachi further insists that ‘1920’ is certainly a period horror flick, she hasn’t done anything like it before and she is very eager to see how it turns out.
“The film is based in 1920 and we will be shooting in London. I have not done something like this so I am really looking forward to this,” she quips.
The third ‘1920’ film will be helmed by Vikram Bhatt’s assistant director Tinu Suresh Desai. It may hit the screens by early next year.
Meanwhile, Prachi is nowadays busy with the promotional activities of her latest film ‘I, Me Aur Main’. The slice-of-life film is releasing on March 1. She is also doing ‘Policegiri’ and ‘Rok On!! 2’.
