Handsome hunk Rana Daggubati, who made an impressive performance with Krish Jagarlamudi's 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum', has become more choosy in his roles.
Rana who debuted with Sekhar Kammula's 'Leader' haven't tasted the kind of success he wanted yet. Meanwhile, he did act in Bollywood films like 'Dum Maro Dum' and Ram Gopal Varma's 'Department' which haven't change his fate.
But he is confident that his future is promising as he has singed Rajamouli's 'Bahubali' which stars Prabhas in the lead role where Rana will be seen as antagonist.
The latest buzz is that he has signed Anushka-starrer 'Rudramadevi' which is being directed and produced by Guna Sekhar. Rana plays the male lead role opposite Anushka Shetty. Rana will be reprising the role of Chalukya Veerabhadra, the prince of Nidavardhya Puram (Nidadavolu).
Director Guna Sekhar has confirmed the news. He said, "I've roped in Rana after watching his previous film 'KVJ'."Touted to be India's first stereoscopic 3D venture, the movie is being made with international technical values.
Interestingly, Rana's upcoming biggies are periodical films in the backdrop of historic background.
