Angelina Jolie has been tight-lipped about the details of her upcoming nuptials with fiance Brad Pitt, but the actress was willing to address rumors she and her actor beau had already wed.

Speculation mounted when the 37-year-old was spotted in a Democratic Republic of the Congo refugee camp -- on a mission for The U.N. Refugee Agency to spread awareness about sexual violence in war zones -- without her diamond engagement ring.

Instead, Jolie wore a simple gold band on her left ring finger. Some began to wonder if the gold band that replaced the $500,000 sparkler was actually a wedding ring.

TMZ caught up with the "Maleficent" actress when she touched down in Los Angeles on Wednesday after her humanitarian trip to ask if the new jewelry signaled something.

"Is that a wedding ring, Angelina?" the TMZ cameraman asked.

"No, it's not," she replied before getting into a chauffeured SUV.

Although Jolie and Pitt are still unmarried, the A-list couple are set to wed soon.

Rumors have abounded regarding the minutiae of the Brangelina wedding and at least one report claims the ceremony will take place at the end of May at their Chateau Miraval estate in the South of France.

The "World War Z" actor hinted at a possible 2013 trip down the aisle back in November.

"I am getting more pressure from my kids, and it is something I want to do within their lifetime, but I also feel like the time has come," Pitt told People magazine. "The time is nigh. It's soon. I got a good feeling about it." He added, "We've had a family, we've raised the kids. I am surprised how much [marriage] meant to me once you had that."
