Actress Asin Thottumkal who has starred in several Bollywood blockbusters, says she has had enough of lovey-dovey characters, now she wants to do some strong and untouched roles.
In her recent interview, Asin said, “I would like to do well-written fresh characters. So far I have played a fun loving girl-next-door.”
The South Indian actress further added that she wants to take up roles that challenge her as an actress.
“Now I would like to try something different, something more challenging and exciting,” she told.
Many Bollywood personalities are nowadays willing to be a part of the small screen as it gives them opportunity to make huge money and reach wider audience. However, Asin is not yet prepared for television and denies possibility of her doing so.
“I haven’t thought about it. It’s good that film personalities are appearing on TV as hosts or judges but I am not ready for it. I won’t do it,” asserted the actress.
Asin’s last Bollywood film was ‘Khiladi 786’ in which she was cast opposite Akshay Kumar. She is looking forward to doing some South Indian films too.
