Kalyan Ram's Rs 15 Crore Gamble

Nandamuri Hero's Rs 15 crore Gamble:

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram seems to have taken the famous adgae 'If you risk nothing, then you risk everything'. The actor is taking the biggest risk of his life to revive his career and to prove his mettle at the Tollywood Box Office.

Touted to be India's first 3D action flick, Kalyan Ram's next outing 'OM' under 'NTR Arts' banner is making the headlines for succeeding in roping the technicians (David Mike Taylor, Markus, and JE Patel) who worked for Hollywood flicks 'Avatar' and 'Prometheus'. Our Nandamuri Hero had to shell out a huge price (Nearly Rs 15 crore) for hiring these big names.

However, Kalyan Ram confidently says the amount paid for the Hollywood crew is worth the product they have delivered and OM is going to set a new trend for other Indian filmmaker to follow.

If the money spent for 3D alone costs Rs 15 crore, then what's the total budget of OM. Believe us, it's anywhere between Rs 25 to 30 crore which is more than double the business range of Kalyan Ram. Only the films which have found the perfect blend of 3D Effects and Human Emotions had set the cash registers ringing in the past. Wish Kalyan Ram succeeds in the big gamble!
