Actress Priyanka Chopra who recently shot for her first ever item number in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Shootout At Wadala’, has said to have charged a bomb to dance on the song.
In the rumors are to be believed, Priyanka has charged a whopping Rs. 2.8 Crore for her item song ‘Babli Badmaash’ in ‘Shootout At Wadala’ which is being directed by Sanjay Gupta.
When asked about the reports, Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures very much agreed to the reports.
He said, “It is all worth it, as this is going to be her first item song ever. It’s also going to be the song that launches the film’s promotion. The amount of time and money that has gone in making this song is because we wanted to make it big.”
Meanwhile, the film’s director Sanjay Gupta is extremely happy with the way Priyanka has performed in his film’s item song.
“Finished ‘Babli Badmaash’ and simply loved the way Priyanka rocked this song. PC loves her work and it shows…..Priyanka’s enthusiasm for her work is unlike any other actress I’ve ever worked with,”
Sanjay posted on his twitter account.
Interestingly, Priyanka is also doing one more dance number called ‘Pinky’ in her upcoming film ‘Zanjeer’. However, she is also a leading lady of the film so it wouldn’t be right to call ‘Pinky’ an item song.
