Its been some years now that both Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar has parted as a writers. This duo has written many wonderful scripts and one of them is 'Zanjeer'. After a strong worded letter sent by Salim Khan to the Scriptwriters Association, the body had called for a meeting between all parties concerned, headed by FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees), with a view to end the tussle. Salim-Javed have been fighting for intellectual rights over the new Zanjeer for quite some time now. Without paying the royalty, 'Zanjeer' remake version has hit the floors.
