Three days after Rajamouli's Baahubali goes to the sets, director Gunasekhar's magnum opus, Rudramadevi, will commence its regular shoot. In a statement, producer and director Gunasekhar said that the movie will start rolling on at a specially erected arena set created by art director Padmashri Tota Tharani at Gopanpalli, a suburbs of Hyderabad.
Interestingly, Charminar set for Gunasekhar's famous film Okkadu was also done at the same location some 10 years ago.The film stars Anushka in the title role while Rana plays the role of Chalukya Veerabadhra, a prince. Rebel Star Krishnam Raju will be playing the character of Ganapathideva Chakravarthy and Prakash Raj will be seen as Mahamantri Sivadevayyayya.
Nathalia Kuar as Annambika, Hansa Nandini as Madanika, Prabha as Somamba, Ajay as Prasaditya, and Nagababu as Nagadevudu will enthrall us.The film has music by maestro Ilayaraja and cinematography by Anjay Vincent. It is to be made in 3D
