It's no secret now that national award winning actress Vidya Balan will be playing famous Carnatic singer MS Subbulakshmi in a biopic to be directed by Rajiv Menon and now reports are that she will be joined by another actress soon.
According to reports, Vidya will be joined by the Cocktail actress Deepika Padukone. Both Deepika and Vidya are from south.
Deepika, who is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela, is likely to play Vidya's younger sister Bala.
Besides Ram Leela, Deepika has two other big releases, Chennai Express and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani later this year.
On the other hand Vidya has just wrapped up Ghanchakkar and will soon begin shooting for Kahaani 2.
