Nayantara Says No for Dirty Picture ?


Recently there has been intense speculation about who will reprise Vidya Balan’s National Award winning role based on Silk Smitha in the Dirty Picture. It was said that the makers were keen to cast Anushka in the coveted role. Now  there is rumour that the role has gone to Nayanthara.
Nayantara has quickly refuted the rumors that the makers of the original ‘The Dirty Picture’ approached her for the Tamil-Telugu remake and that she has given her consent for the project.
“I loved watching ‘The Dirty Picture’ but I won’t be comfortable doing it in the south. Media seems to love me this season. But no, none have approached me and even if they approach I will not be working on it”, says the actress who is back after a brief hiatus.
