No More Telugu Remakes For Bollywood
No more Telugu remakes are on the cards for the producers from Bollywood. It is not that they are stopping the remakes, but the punch here is something different.
With most remakes of Telugu hits crossing more than 100 crores in terms of collections, our producers have now changed mind. Many Telugu makers are not selling remake rights now and are showing interest to produce the Hindi version themselves. To talk about, ace producer Ashwini Dutt is the best example. As enquired started pouring in to sell the remake rights of Megastar's blockbuster 'Indra', this veteran producer got this new idea. His daughter Priyanka Dutt confirmed to a couple of media sources that their home banner is going to produce this film in Hindi too.
If that happens, it will be a big shock to people like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who are showing too much interest to produce these remakes. Let us see how this goes.
