40 Crores Budget For SVSC:
The budget of this prestigious multi starrer of Tollywood is 40 crores, with which Rajamouli will make two 'Eegas' and Puri will make three 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu'. So, what is so special about 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'?
If we have to go by the words of Dil Raju, more than big budgets only good content counts and this will be true about SVSC. He says that even the script is also not altered a bit though both Venky and Mahesh are present on the stand. But spending 40 crores seems to be a little risky, especially for family movies. On the flip side, more than 25 crores might have gone to remunerations to actors and technicians, including Mahesh, Venky, Samantha, Anjali, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha. A slight average talk or a just negative talk in few centres will ruin the chances of SVSC without any second thought.
The success of SVSC definitely lays foundation for more multi starrers, but what happens if the result is opposite. Will anyone dare to spend 40 crores in the name of creating history? If our stars take less pay cheque for multi-starrers then this might work!
