Generally, a thriller film like 'Avunu' needs a lot of print publicity as such genres will be liked by limited audience. But this crazy director released just a few publicity posters and kept the photos of the film under tight wraps, even after the film hit the screens. The photos were finally given to the media Today, after receiving positive reviews and good word of mouth from all quarters.
This move by Ravi Babu is said to be highly risky and very rarely we come across something like this in the times where promotions have been deciding the fate of the films. A filmmaker who has a lot of faith on the content of his film and judgement could alone be able to pull off. Ravi Babu's belief in himself and efforts have paid off!
